Friday's Facebook Fave's

Since it's Friday, here are a few more interesting things from Facebook:

Poor Mans Cobbler! Soo easy and delicious!

3 c of berries
1 c Milk
1 c self-rising flour
1 c sugar...
Mix together milk sugar and flour. Pour a fourth of the mixture in a 8X8 in pan, sprinkle berries on top, pour in the remaining of mixture. Bake at 350 for 30 mins or until brown on top.. My grandma use to make this all the time and it has become a favorite in my home.

Preserving Halloween Pumpkins:

With Halloween coming up, share this to your page so you can remember to do this!

After you scoop out and carve your pumpkin, dip it in a large container of bleach and water (use a 1 tsp:1 gal mix). The bleach will kill bacteria and help your pumpkin stay fresh longer. Once completely dry, (drain upside down), add ...2 tablespoon of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to a quart of water. Brush this solution onto your pumpkin to keep it looking fresh for weeks.
