Hyacinth

Ten or fifteen years ago I planted several hyacinth bulbs under the quaking aspen outside our front door.   Though the flowers only last for a few weeks, they have bloomed faithfully every spring right after the daffodils, brightly welcoming us home during the cool spring days when it is still too cold for most flowers.

Do you have hyacinths in your flower garden?

  1. Potted plants are a must when it's too cold outside. Especially flowers!
