I bought some onion starts last weekend. I usually have a few onions that come back each year from some starts that I set out about ten years ago. I also try to plant a few green onions each spring. It's so nice to be able to just run out to the garden whenever I need a new onion for dinner, and the best thing is that they seem to always come back! I've decided that I need a few more now, and will be planting these outside any day now when I get a few minutes . . .I hope!?!? Do you grow onions in your garden or yard?
I'm so impressed with your gardening skills! I have a hard time with growing anything and keeping it alive :)
ReplyDeleteI don't claim to be an expert by any means. Some years the gardens turn out better than others, but they are never gorgeous like the ones you see in magazines. I have learned to take the losses (and weeds) in stride and to rejoice and enjoy the successes. Good luck with your efforts!
