This short little book is chock full of wonderful advice for artists and for any one else on this planet that wants to be successful and creative. It's full of wonderful quotes and lots of good advice. Keep a notebook. Always be reading. Read bibliographies. Collect Books. Fake it till you make it. Use your hands. Avoid debt. Study people you like and admire. Hang out with people you like and admire. Find a good day job that doesn't make you vomit. And much much more. I like this book a lot. Sounds like some good advice. I'm not as diligent with my journal but there are entries every week. :-)
ReplyDeleteI haven't been very good with my journal either. I think my blogs have pretty much taken it's place. That and the copies of emails that I send to my kids. and my parents every week or so.
