WIP Wednesday: Reading Love Anthony by Lisa Genova

This has not been a very productive week for me.  I planned to take advantage of the long weekend and do many creative things, but a major head cold has left me with very little enthusiasm.  I was able to add 920 words to my current writing WIP, but am still struggling with the editing process.  No sewing or quilting has been done.  I have spent quite a bit of time reading, including Lisa Genova's latest book, Love Anthony.

I have loved all of Lisa Genova's books so far. At first I felt that "Love Anthony" was a little bit slow in getting to the meat of what life is like for a child with Autism, and for his parents, she has once again done a superb job. I love how she can help me to understand people and situations that I have little to no personal experience with.  If you haven't read Love Anthony, you might just want to check it out.

"I'm always hearing about how my brain doesn't work right . . . but it doesn't feel broken to me." --Anthony
