Quilted Hugs From Maddie

This blog is all about my efforts to be a bit more creative and a bit more compassionate.  I don't often write much about compassion, but cassionally when I run across examples of compassion, I like to share the story.  This week's Craftsy Online-Newsletter features a story about seven year old Maddie who is on a quest to make quilts to donate to people in need.  Pop on over to the newsletter to see her cute picture and read more about her quilting projects.  She only began quilting a short time ago with the help from her grandmother and some Craftsy classes, but has big ambitions to make more quilts.  If you or anyone you know would like to donate fabric to her cause, you can send it to:

  2. I may donate some of my fabric, too. I used to quilt but have started writing and don't have time for it now. Good cause. Thanks for telling us.
